The beach Rousoum Gialos is 800 meters away of the central port of the island, Patitiri and is situated between the village of Votsi.
It consists of small pebbles with clear waters and is the nearest beach to the center of Alonissos. There is also a harbor here where it can be used as anchorage for small boats.
On the beach there are several taverns and cafes.
From the center of the island, the distance is about 200 meters. Even on foot you can have quick access to the commercial center (pharmacy, health center, supermarket, bakery, playground, etc.)
100 meters from the hotel there is the bus stop to the Old Alonissos and beaches.
From the main port of Patitiri there are numerous boats that will take you to distant unknown shores or even to Alonissos National Marine Park where you can experience the eternal and unchangeable ecological heritage of nature.
The name of the beach comes from the word Rsoum which in Turkish means duty, and it seems that from this beach were made exports of the renowned wine of Alonissos, and there were paid the relevant duties (import-export).
